Mission and Purpose

 

Our Mission and Purpose: The primary purpose of the Midland Chapter of IAAP is to provide a diverse learning environment for administrative professionals that fosters career development, promotes networking, and celebrates personal growth.

History

IAAP has had a presence in the Midland community since May 5, 1970. Chartered originally as the Chippewa Chapter, the name was later changed in 1988 to the Midland Chapter. Today we strive for a diverse membership base and encourage involvement from a variety of office-related professions outside the traditional scope of administrative (i.e., technical professionals, office managers, etc.)

 
Organization

Midland Chapter is part of Michigan Division. Currently, there are 13 active chapters within the state. Michigan Division along with other divisions (Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio) representing the Great Lakes District. Conferences are held at the division and International levels to foster networking within the Association.
